Dream Pavilion
A dream has a particular materialisation, it shifts from a state of stability to the mode of viscosity, levitation or hovering. Is a state of trance-materiality. It is a space of hierarchies inversions between physical and visual presences. The Dream Pavilion is a field of the transformation and emergence.
Also the project reflects an idea of ecology, tries to understand the coherence as a system, and teaches us how everyone is connected to everyone else.
Looking at the world from an ecological perspective means paying attention to the interaction between the elements and implies a concern for relationships. How can we foster relations?
The project explores the architectonic expression of the question.
The pavilion consists from two types of elements: static frame (compression element) and flexible suspended colour net-surfaces (tension element). Thanks to the expansibility of the elements, the pavilion is easy modifiable from a double to a single level construction, from opened to closed, transforming into a typology of the canopy, hammock or both. A stratifying mesh surfaces producing a visual effect moiré.
The pavilion is a model of tangible relations between us. In the way it is a field of common colour dreams, build up by individuals. It is a space of interface.
